About the Judge

Chef Evelyn Sussman graduated from Virginia Tech with a Masters of Education, and received her Culinary and Pastry education from J Sergeant Reynolds in Richmond, VA, where she became a Certified Chef.  She has been teaching at Stafford High School for 6 years, and is elated to see the program grow and become better each year.  Chef Sussman partners with the community, and local foodservice establishment to provide great opportunities for the students both in and out of the classroom, and enjoys seeing the fruits of her labor as students develop a passion for food, and for striving toward perfection in their school and work lives.
