Rachel Green’s Bat Mitzvah Project: Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis

Tikkun Olam, repairing the world, is an important idea in Judaism. As I become a Jewish adult, I want to do my part to help kids who have Crohn’s Disease like me. Many of you know I was diagnosed this year and I have been sick a lot. Crohn's is an inflammatory disease that causes pain, fatigue, weight loss, and malnutrition. Unfortunately, there is no cure yet. On October 5th, I will be participating in a fundraising walk in Herndon, VA to raise money for research and treatment.
