Adult Education

learn to read Hebrew

We offer a Hebrew course for adults, using the same Hebrew Through Prayer curriculum used by our younger students.  While the kids cover the material in four years, adults go through it in two years.  By the end, you will be able to not only read Hebrew, but you will know the meaning behind many of the prayers said during services, as well as basic vocabulary.  It is not a conversational Hebrew course but rather one that will allow you to participate in and even lead a service.

The adult class takes place on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. typically between September and May. Tuition is $50 for members and $75 for non-members per semester.
