Tiny But Mighty

Tiny But Mighty is a continuing series that features members and their  careers and interests. Members can present a short session on the topic of their choice, or sponsor a presenter. There are many dates available right now for members to sign up to either present or host a one time learning session. You can present on a favorite hobby, your career, or sponsor a teacher or leader of something you're passionate about to lead a session.
An example of a  past Tiny But Might Session was a member hosting a  presentation on Cotton|
... its history in the United States, its role in slavery, its current role in US trade, a few misconceptions and myths, and how you can grow your own cotton plants.  Not necessarily what we remembered
from 4th grade history class!

Let's share our skills and passions with one another - the diversity of talents
and interests in our congregation is what makes us Tiny But Mighty!

Learn to Read Hebrew

We offer a Hebrew course for adults, using the same Hebrew Through Prayer curriculum used by our younger students.  While the kids cover the material in four years, adults go through it in two years.  By the end, you will be able to not only read Hebrew, but you will know the meaning behind many of the prayers said during services, as well as basic vocabulary.

The adult class takes place on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. typically between September and May. Tuition is $50 for members and $75 for non-members per semester.

Weekly Torah Study

Join the congregation in the weekly Torah Study on Saturday mornings! During this time, the congregation noshes on small treats and does an in-depth investigation of the Hebrew Bible.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  There is no charge for this study group.

Check the calendar weekly for updates.
