Who is Beth Sholom?

Beth Sholom Temple is an inclusive community that supports each person's Jewish journey. We welcome those who were born to Jewish parents and those who have chosen Judaism; interfaith families and single parents; and people of any age, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, income level, ability, or cultural background. Beth Sholom is proud to be diverse and open to all who wish to learn about and practice Judaism. We are affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism but people from all backgrounds are a part of our family.

A Message from the Membership Committee

The Membership Committee of Beth Sholom Temple personally invites you to be a member of our vibrant and diverse congregation. We hold weekly Friday night Shabbat services and a monthly Family Shabbat service. We also have shorter morning services and Torah study on Saturdays.

Our Religious and Hebrew School provides our students with a comprehensive program that leads to an in-depth and meaningful bar/bat mitzvah experience, as well as continuation to confirmation.

Activities and opportunities abound! We offer adult classes in Hebrew and Judaic studies and community projects such as the holiday meals we provide for the local homeless shelter residents, in addition to Sisterhood, Youth Group, Book Club and Sunday morning Bagel Bar, just to mention a few. There are numerous ways you may want to get involved in temple life at Beth Sholom. We have opportunities for participation and volunteering at services, on a committee, through Religious School or one of our Temple groups.

If you are interested in becoming a member of our family, please use the form below. If you are interested in converting to Judaism we have an active conversion program. Dues Policy

At Beth Sholom Temple, dues are voluntary with suggested amounts determined by the annual budget requirements*. Each member chooses their yearly contribution, which remains confidential and is only known to the current President and Treasurer.

*Dues are calculated based on the total amount needed to fulfill all planned financial obligations if each member paid the full amount.
