Beth Sholom Library

Beth Sholom Temple has a library that is host to a variety of Jewish literature for both children and adults. Our Head Librarian, Caitie Finlayson, is working to rejuvenate and restore the library to working condition and make it a place the members of our congregation want to be, whether for entertainment, study, or quiet reflection. Come check it out!

Members and Nonmembers are welcome to utilize the space and check out books for study.

Donations

We accept both donations of used books and monetary donations to help purchase new books as well as supplies for our library, such as access to software to manage checking out books.

Used books and materials should be related to Judaism in some way.  Please do not donate books on unrelated topics.  There is a box in the office for donations of books and materials.   If you are interested in a tax receipt for your donation, the Office Manager would be happy to provide it to you.

Monetary donations are particularly appreciated right now.  There have not been many new books or materials ordered for the library in several years.  We want to grow our collection of more recent items but have a very limited budget.  Click here to donate; please be sure to select "Library Books and Materials Fund" when making your donation.

We also welcome suggestions of books to purchase.   Please let Caitie Finlayson know at finlaysonc1@gmail.com.
