Religious School 2025 - 2026

Online Religious School Registration (Due by August 31)

In the interest of cutting down on paper and streamlining the registration process, religious school registration will now occur online. Families will also have the option to pay tuition online (although cash/checks are still accepted).

        Step 1         In order to participate in Religious School, your family must be members of Beth Sholom Temple of Fredericksburg. If you are not a member, please fill out this Membership Form and submit it via email to office@bstva.org.
  Please note that all dues are suggested and NO ONE is excluded from membership for the inability to pay the suggested amount, or any dues at all. 
   
Step 2 Please make sure that you can login to your BSTVA account. All BST members have an account. You may need to reset your password if it is the first time you are logging in. Please contact Anna Griffith (office@bstva.org), our office manager, if you run into any issues. 
   
Step 3 Follow this link to the 2025-26 Religious School Registration Form. Please make sure to fill it out by August 31. This ensures that we have an accurate headcount of students and can place one complete textbook order. There will be a $25 fee per student for late registration after August 31.

 

Religious School Tuition and Payment Plans: 
 
Religious school tuition for the 2025-2026 school year has not increased. We have also prorated tuition for B'nei mitzvah students who only attend for a portion of the year. There is a $1000 family cap for tuition; families enrolling three or more children will not pay more than $1000. Please review the tuition fees below so that you can anticipate the total amount of tuition due. 
 
No student will be turned away due to finances.
If there is a need for financial assistance, please contact the Treasurer (treasurer@bstva.org) or President (president@bstva.org).

*Tuition for B'nei Mitzvah students is prorated from $500 according to the number of months attended through the date of the B'nei Mitzvah

If your child has a B'nei Mitzvah date between September 2025 & August 2026, a $180 donation in honor of our Torah Tutors it is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.
 
Tuition Payment Plan Options (choose one of the following options on the online registration form)
  • Pay in full online by the first day of classes (September 7).
  • Pay in full by cash or check by the first day of classes (September 7). 
  • Pay quarterly online. Please make the first quarterly payment by the first day of classes (September 7, November 12, January 21, March 11).
  • Pay quarterly by cash or check. Please make the first quarterly payment by the first day of classes (September 7, November 12, January 21, March 11).

Please NOTE, if you plan to pay via credit card there is a 3% fee per transaction.
